Safe Play Programme

Responsible Gambling
at pk2win

Gambling is entertainment — it should never feel like pressure, obligation or a way to solve financial problems. pk2win provides every user with the tools, information and support to keep their play within healthy boundaries.

Playing Smart, Staying in Control

pk2win is an online gambling and sports betting platform built with Pakistani users in mind — from cricket fans following PSL fixtures in Karachi and Lahore to T20 International enthusiasts in Islamabad and Peshawar. We take responsible gambling seriously not as a regulatory checkbox, but as a genuine obligation to the people who use our platform.

Gambling involves real financial risk. Outcomes on every market — whether a PSL match, a live casino table, or a slot title — are determined by chance and are never guaranteed. Anyone who tells you otherwise is not being honest. At pk2win, we make that clear from the start.

This page explains the practical tools available to you, the warning signs of problem gambling, how to access self-exclusion, and where to find independent support. All of these resources are available to every registered user — no questions asked.

We also acknowledge that gambling laws in Pakistan — including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977 — may restrict or prohibit certain activities. pk2win does not claim to be authorised or licensed by any Pakistani government body, the PTA, or the State Bank of Pakistan. Users are responsible for understanding the legal framework that applies in their jurisdiction. This page does not constitute legal advice.

Responsible gambling tools on pk2win are available regardless of account tier, deposit history, or active bonus status. You do not need to justify using them.

18+

Adults Only — No Exceptions

pk2win is strictly restricted to users aged 18 or above, or the higher minimum age required by the operator's licensing jurisdiction. Registering as a minor, or allowing a minor to use your Account, is a serious breach of our Terms & Conditions and will result in immediate account closure.

If you share a device with younger family members — whether in Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Multan or anywhere else — please ensure your Account is password-protected, your sessions are logged out after use, and the platform is not accessible to anyone under the minimum age.

Age verification is conducted as part of our KYC process. Any Account found to be operated by a minor will be closed, funds will be managed per applicable AML procedures, and the matter may be referred to relevant authorities.

Parental Controls: If you are concerned that someone under 18 in your household may access gambling content online, consider using parental control software to restrict access. This is an independent measure pk2win recommends regardless of our own age-gate systems.

Your Control Panel for Responsible Play

All of the following tools are available directly from your Account settings or by contacting the pk2win support team. None require a reason or justification to activate.

Deposit Limits

Set a maximum amount you can deposit into your pk2win Account on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Once set, limits take effect immediately. Increasing a limit requires a cooling-off period before the change takes effect — decreasing a limit applies instantly.

Loss Limits

Define the maximum net loss you are willing to accept over a set period. When your loss threshold is reached, further wagering is paused until the limit period resets. This tool is particularly useful for players who prefer a hard boundary rather than relying on willpower alone.

Session Time Limits

Set a maximum duration for each active session on pk2win. When your time limit is reached, you will receive a notification and may be required to confirm continuation or end the session. This helps prevent the kind of extended play that is associated with poor decision-making.

Cooling-Off Period

Request a temporary restriction on your Account for a defined period — 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or longer. During a cooling-off period, you cannot deposit funds or place wagers. Your Account remains open so that any pending withdrawals can still be processed.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a longer-term commitment to step away from gambling on pk2win. It can be set for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years, or permanently. Requests are processed promptly by our support team via Live Chat or email. See the dedicated section below for full details.

Reality Checks

Enable on-screen reminders that appear at intervals you select — every 30, 60 or 90 minutes — displaying how long you have been playing and your net session result. Reality checks are especially useful during live casino and slot sessions where time can pass quickly.

How to Set Your Limits on pk2win

Setting responsible gambling limits takes less than two minutes. Here is exactly how to do it.

1
Log In to Your Account

Sign in to your pk2win Account from the homepage on any device — desktop, tablet or mobile.

2

Navigate to your Account menu (top-right on desktop, hamburger menu on mobile) and select "Account Settings".

3
Select "Responsible Gambling"

Find the Responsible Gambling section within Account Settings. All available tools are listed here in one place.

4
Choose Your Tool

Select the tool you want — deposit limit, loss limit, session timer, cooling-off or self-exclusion — and follow the on-screen prompts.

5

Healthy Play vs Problem Gambling

Understanding the difference is the first step. Gambling can be enjoyable — but it can also become harmful. Honest self-awareness matters.

Healthy Gambling

  • You gamble with money you can afford to lose — money left after bills, rent and essentials are covered.
  • Gambling is one leisure activity among many — it does not replace social activities, family time or work obligations.
  • Losses do not make you anxious, angry or desperate to win them back.
  • You are comfortable walking away — a session ends when you decide, not when your balance does.
  • You do not hide your gambling activity from family or friends.
  • You set a budget before you start and you stick to it.
  • Winning feels like a bonus, not an expectation.

Signs of Problem Gambling

  • Gambling with money needed for essential expenses — rent, food, utility bills, children's needs.
  • Chasing losses — continuing to play in the hope of recovering what you have lost in the same session.
  • Feeling irritable, anxious or depressed when not gambling, or unable to reduce how much you play.
  • Borrowing money, taking loans, or selling personal belongings to fund gambling.
  • Hiding gambling activity from family, friends or your employer.
  • Missing work, study or family commitments due to gambling.
  • Gambling feels like the only thing that relieves stress or negative emotions.

Warning Signs to Watch For

Thinking about gambling constantly — planning your next session, replaying past bets, calculating future scenarios even when you are at work or with family.

Spending significantly more time and money gambling than you originally intended, and repeatedly failing to reduce or stop.

Feeling a need to gamble with larger and larger amounts of money in order to feel the same level of excitement — a sign of tolerance, similar to substance dependency.

Making unsuccessful attempts to control, cut back, or stop gambling — often promising yourself "just one more session" repeatedly.

Gambling as an escape from stress, depression, anxiety, loneliness — using it to cope with difficult emotions rather than as entertainment.

Family members or friends have raised concerns about your gambling and you have dismissed or minimised those concerns.

Ask Yourself These Questions

Answer honestly. If you find yourself saying "yes" to several of these questions, it may be a sign that your gambling has moved beyond healthy entertainment.

Q1

Have you ever spent more time or money gambling than you originally planned for that session?

Q2

Have you gambled with money intended for essentials — rent, groceries, school fees, household bills?

Q3

Have you tried to win back losses in the same session or the next session, feeling you "had to" recover?

Q4

Have you lied to family members, friends or your employer about how much you gamble or how much you have lost?

Q5

Have you borrowed money or sold personal items to fund gambling at any point?

Q6

Does gambling feel like something you need to do to feel normal, calm or happy, rather than something you simply enjoy?

Q7

Have you tried to stop or reduce your gambling and found it harder than expected?

If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, please consider using our self-exclusion or cooling-off tools, and reaching out to our support team. There is no shame in seeking help — it is the responsible choice.

Stepping Back — When and How

Self-exclusion is not a failure — it is a practical decision to protect yourself. pk2win makes it straightforward, permanent until the chosen period has elapsed, and entirely confidential.

6-Month Exclusion

Your Account is suspended for six months. You cannot deposit, wager or access promotions. Pending withdrawals are processed. Account reactivation requires written request after the full period.

1-Year Exclusion

A 12-month suspension with the same conditions as the 6-month option. Often recommended for users who have recognised a pattern of problem gambling that requires a meaningful break.

5-Year Exclusion

A five-year Account suspension for users who feel they need a longer-term commitment to step away from online gambling. This period cannot be shortened regardless of circumstances.

Permanent Exclusion

Permanent and irreversible Account closure for gambling purposes. Suitable for users who have decided that gambling is not something they wish to continue with at any point in the future. This decision cannot be reversed.

How to Request Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion requests can be submitted via:

  • Live Chat — available 24/7 directly on the Platform. Tell the agent you want to activate self-exclusion and specify the period.
  • Email — write to [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". Include your Account username and the exclusion period you are requesting.
  • Account Settings — navigate to Responsible Gambling in your Account Settings and select Self-Exclusion from the available options.
What Happens After You Request Exclusion
  • Your Account is suspended within one hour of a confirmed request — immediately where technically possible.
  • Any outstanding balance (real-money funds only) will be returned to your registered payment method following completion of identity verification.
  • You will not receive promotional emails or marketing communications during the exclusion period.
  • Requests to reinstate a self-excluded Account before the stated period has fully elapsed will not be processed.
  • If you attempt to register a new Account during an active self-exclusion, that Account will also be closed on identification.
